Electrolyte analyzer with ion selective electrode method is used to achieve accurate detection. Six kinds of electrodes on the instrument: sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium ions, lithium and reference electrode. Each has an ion selective electrode membrane, which the tested sample and the corresponding ionic will react. Membrane is a ion exchanger, react with ionic charge and change the membrane potential.So it can detect the electric potential among liquid, the sample and membrane . On both sides of the membrane tested two potential difference value will generate an electric current. sample, and the reference electrode, reference electrode liquid constitute a “loop” side. membrane, internal electrode liquid, internal electrodes are on the other side.
