Dynamic digital radiography

With the continuous development of medicine, imaging has become one of the means of examination, from the initial digital radiography products, to the development of direct digital radiography products (static DR), to the dynamic digital radiography (dynamic DR) which has become the mainstream choice of medical institutions today.Dynamic Digital Radiography (Dynamic DR)

In recent years, there are more patients with spine and lower limb deformities, mostly scoliosis deformities in adolescents, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and bilateral lower limb deformities such as internal and external rotation of the knee, X-shaped O-leg, etc. are also common in orthopedics. And the incidence rate is increasing year by year, often involving the lower limbs of the hip, knee, ankle 3 weight-bearing joints, affecting the patient’s life, and even loss of work ability.

In the clinical treatment of spine and lower limb deformities, corrective surgery is generally required. Before and after surgery, radiographs are needed to analyze the condition, make a clear diagnosis and observe the treatment effect. Conventional DR is limited to 43cm, but the average length of the full spine is 70-75cm for men and 66-70cm for women, and longer for both lower extremities. The PLX8600 dynamic DR has a large effective field of view of 43cm*86cm, which can capture the image field of the whole spine and both lower extremities at one time.

Conventional DR imaging technology cannot capture a complete X-ray image of the entire spine or both lower extremities at one time. The full spine requires separate radiographs of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, and although the local scoliosis can be observed, the continuity between the three cannot be observed, which makes the diagnosis and treatment of such diseases more difficult.

With a large effective field of view of 43cm*86cm, the Dynamic Digital Radiography (Dynamic DR) enables complete and clear imaging of the entire spine and both lower extremities, providing accurate measurements for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning and post-treatment review of scoliosis deformity and lower extremity osteoarthritis.

Whole spine clinical imaging

Dynamic digital radiography (Dynamic DR) enables PPCI to image the entire spine at one time, visually display the overall shape of the spine and the site of scoliosis, evaluate the degree of scoliosis pathology, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the physiological curvature of the spine at all stages and the relationship between intervertebral joint connections, avoiding the impact of conventional spine photography on the curvature of the entire spine. It provides an important imaging basis for the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis.

Clinical imaging of both lower extremities

Dynamic digital radiography (Dynamic DR) can show the whole hip to ankle joints, visualize the deformity and force line abnormality caused by joint cartilage wear and soft tissue imbalance, and comprehensively compare and understand the lesions of both lower extremities. It is of great clinical significance for preoperative planning and postoperative observation of lower limb correction and artificial joint replacement.

The dynamic digital radiography (dynamic DR) is a solution to the problems of uneven density, image alignment and magnification effect of the spliced images, which bring9s a real large field of view imaging solution to the clinic with high-definition image quality and accurate imaging without distortion, assisting doctors to diagnose diseases accurately.
